Professor Ronnie Friedman is Vice President for External Relations and University Advancement at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.  The former Dean of the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Professor Friedman is an expert in the field of immunology, with extensive knowledge about eco-friendly agriculture.

Professor Friedman joined Hebrew University’s Department of Animal Sciences in 1986 and holds the Ron Barbaro Chair in Veterinary Medicine. He is the former head of the Department of Animal Sciences and former Vice Dean for teaching at the Faculty of Agriculture.   A Hebrew University alumnus, Professor Friedman received his Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of Science and conducted post-doctoral research at Harvard University Medical School.
