David M. Donenberg, Chicago, Illinois

David Donenberg is Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Business Operations for Seasons Healthcare Management, a national hospice and palliative care provider.  He oversees financial and business operations for an organization that serves thousands of people daily.  A Certified Public Accountant, David earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, and received his master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management & McCormick’s School of Engineering.   Integrally involved in civic and Jewish communal activities, David sits on the Board of the Seasons Hospice Foundation, is a Generation-to-Generation Member of the Illinois Holocaust Museum, and previously served on the LEED Council of Chicago.  He is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Managers Association, among other professional affiliations.

In David’s words: “My parents raised me to recognize that the worth of a man is not necessarily the wealth he accumulates, but rather the footprint he leaves on the world and the impact he has on others.  I get energized and focused when inspired by this mantra and hopefully have instilled this belief in my children.  Through LEAD, I hope to build meaningful alliances for both work and friendship purposes, continuing the mission of AFHU and expanding American Friends’ good work in the U.S.”
