In Andrew’s words: “My connection to Israel and Hebrew University runs deep in my family, to the early foundations of my youth.  My grandfather immigrated to Israel after the Holocaust, and my father was born in Israel. My connection to Hebrew University is eternal through a tragic event in my family, in which my cousin Marla Bennett was killed at HU in a terrorist attack in 2002.   I hope to learn more about the university, by helping to support the school which Marla cared about deeply.”
