Support the Robert I. Schattner Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities

The Hebrew University Faculty of Dental Medicine will establish the Robert I. Schattner Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities, a state-of-the-art, first-of-its-kind facility in Israel, that will provide accessible, compassionate, and optimal care for this underserved population and specialized training for dental professionals.

Consistent with the University’s mission to serve Israel by training its scientific, educational, and professional leadership and to serve humanity by extending the frontiers of knowledge, this project will bridge the gap between understanding the significance of oral health and ensuring its availability to all.

With your help, the Hebrew University Faculty of Dental Medicine will transform dental care for people with all kinds of disabilities, ranging from physical limitations to mental health disorders and cognitive impairments. The Center will change the face of dental care for people from all segments of Israeli society, offering dental care and professional training across Israel and the region without regard to race, religion, or ethnicity. In addition, the research conducted at the Center will have applications far beyond Israel’s borders, providing insight and advances with potentially global reach.

We appreciate your support to make the Center a reality and ensure everyone receives proper dental care through the Hebrew University.
