Uncorked: A Taste of Israeli Wine Jan. 24

In a sold-out gathering, more than 30 Chicagoans, including Hebrew University Board of Governors Chairman Dan Schlessinger, AFHU Midwest President Steven Edelson, and AFHU Midwest Board Members Mary Ann Tuft and Michele Katz Rosenblum, gathered at the home of AFHU Midwest Board Member Karen Herbst to hear about Hebrew University’s unique viticulture program (the only one in Israel!) and Israel’s emerging prominence in the world’s wine cellar. AFHU Midwest’s Uncorked: A Taste of Israeli Wine featuring Hebrew University Professor Zohar Kerem on Thursday evening, January 24th, included a wine tasting by Tabor Winery. The crowd relished Professor Kerem’s presentation on the various viticulture programs at the university, followed by a sampling of some delicious, blessed fermented grapes!
