82nd International Board of Governors

Friends from throughout the world traveled to Jerusalem for the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s 82nd International Board of Governors from June 14-19th. Jerusalem’s high-tech ecosystem was the theme of BOG activities, including lively HUJI Talks and campus visits. A plenary session showcased scientific achievements, including the latest university-generated innovations in food- and agro-techologies, nanoscience and nanomedicine. Panels discussed the new relationships flourishing between innovators and entrepreneurs.

Professor Asher Cohen, HUJI president, observed of this year’s BOG, “We see ourselves as creating the next generation of leaders that connect knowledge and innovation with industry.  Our Board of Governors participants will have a front-row seat to the wonderful synergy of entrepreneurship and academia here in Jerusalem.”
