Professor Mona Khoury-Kassabri (Ph.D.) is the Dean of the School of Social Work and Social Welfare at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Professor Khoury-Kassabri is the advisor for minority affairs to the Hebrew University President and the head of the University Steering Committee for Accessibility to Higher Education among Arab Students. Professor Khoury-Kassabri is also the head of the committee appointed to examine HU’s diversity policy as part of the national “Israeli Hope in the Academia” initiative. 

Professor Khoury-Kassabri’s research focuses on issues related to the welfare of children and youth. She is especially interested in the area of children and youth at risk for becoming perpetrators and victims of violent and delinquent acts. In addition, she has done several studies exploring the issue of parental and children development and understanding of children’s rights.
