Supporters of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and AFHU’s mission can create a meaningful legacy that fosters the University’s future strength by making a bequest or through a revocable living trust. These types of planned gifts can also achieve effective estate and tax planning for philanthropic individuals.
A gift from your estate can help to propel cutting-edge medical research, spur innovation in nanoscience and brain sciences, feed the world through sustainable agriculture or expand knowledge in the Humanities and Jewish Studies at The Hebrew University.
Ways to create your personal legacy to Israel and the world:
- Through your retirement plan: Name American Friends of The Hebrew University on the beneficiary designation form supplied by the trustee or custodian of your IRA, 401K, or other retirement plan.
- Through your life insurance policy: Name American Friends of The Hebrew University on the beneficiary designation form provided by your life insurance company.
- Through your bank or brokerage account: Title or retitle a bank account as POD (payable on death), or a brokerage account or stock certificate as TOD (transfer on death), to the American Friends of The Hebrew University.
