Seth M. Siegel is a writer, lawyer, activist and serial entrepreneur. His new book, Let There Be Water: Israel’s Solution for a Water-Starved World, will be published by Thomas Dunne Books/St. Martin’s Press on September 15, 2015.
Mr. Siegel’s essays on water and other policy issues have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, and in leading publications in Europe and Asia. An expert in the field, he has spoken at the United Nations, at the Council on Foreign Relations, where he is a member, and elsewhere in the United States and Israel. He is a graduate of Cornell University and the Cornell Law School, and studied at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Frequently quoted in media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, The New York Times, the Financial Times (FT), USA Today, CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, and Fox News, Mr. Siegel has appeared on NBC Nightly News and The Today Show, and was a regular studio guest on CNBC. Mr. Siegel is the co-founder of several companies, among them, Beanstalk, the world’s leading trademark brand extension company, and Sixpoint Partners, a boutique financial services firm. He was an adjunct professor at New York University, and a producer of the Broadway revival of “Man of La Mancha.” Mr. Siegel sits on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations, including the Heschel School, AIPAC, and NLI-USA, the organization tasked with rebuilding the National Library of Israel.
