On Thursday, January 16, AFHU’s Pacific Northwest Region hosted “Food(Tech) for Thought: Fireside Chat on the Future of Food.” About 50 people from the Bay Area gathered to hear Olivia Fox Cabane, Cofounder and Chief Map Maker of KindEarth.Tech, elegantly moderating a discussion between Dennis Woodside, President at Impossible Foods, and Professor Yaakov (Koby) Nahmias, the Hebrew University, Alexander Grass Center for Bioengineering, Founder and CSO at Future Meat. The audience tasted Impossible burgers donated by Impossible Foods and were actively involved in asking questions from panelists and learned how innovation and technology are paving the way for the future of food.
