The cornerstones of The Hebrew University's first buildings were dedicated on Mount Scopus in 1925. Use of the campus was lost in 1948, following Israel's War of Independence, and was not regained until after the Six-Day War in 1967.
Today, the thriving modern campus Mount Scopus is a living symbol of a Jerusalem reunited.
