AFHU presented Kenneth R. Feinberg, a leading American mediation and alternative dispute resolution attorney, with The Torch of Learning Award on April 14th at The Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, DC. He is currently the government’s Special Master for TARP Executive Compensation, and the managing partner and founder of the Feinberg Group, LLP. The celebratory dinner was chaired by Jeffrey B. Kindler, Chairman and CEO of Pfizer Inc. Sheldon J. Weisel, attorney at Goulston & Storrs, was the dinner’s vice-chair.
“Kenneth Feinberg serves as a leader and educator for America in his capacity as a leading expert in some of our nation’s most complex and emotionally charged legal matters. His service to this country, dedication to educating the next generation of legal advisors, and guidance on issues concerning victims of man-made and natural disasters exemplifies the prestigious nature of the Torch of Learning Award,” said Nancy Hamburger, President of AFHU’s Mid-Atlantic Region.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit students at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Faculty of Law.
