At the AFHU Southeast Region's highly successful seventh Annual Palm Beach Scholarship Brunch, the Honorable Gabriela Shalev, Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, and Claire Shipman, Senior National Correspondent of ABC News "Good Morning America", engaged in a lively and insightful conversation on the status of the Middle East peace process, the challenges of being a woman at the U.N., the Obama presidency, and other key topics. The informal interview was the keynote at the event to benefit Hebrew University students. The brunch was co-chaired by AFHU Honorary President, Honorary Board Chairman and HU Board of Governors member, Stanley Bogen: AFHU Board of Regents member, Roberta Bogen; Kenneth Endelson and AFHU Board of Regents member Sherry Endelsen: Roberta and Paul Kozloff, Laurie Silvers and Mitchell Rubenstein. Honorary chairs were Dini Katz and Dr. Maria Spinak.

Morton Mandel, Honorary Hebrew University Board of Governors member and his wife, Barbara Mandel, Hebrew University Board of Governors member and Honorary AFHU President, proudly attended the Brunch in support of HU student scholarships.
