6.5% fixed rate income for two-lives, 70.5% of which may be paid to both individuals jointly and for the lifetime of the survivor tax-free.  At ages 78 and 76, this is what you will receive when you make a contribution to AFHU to establish a two-life joint and survivor AFHU Hebrew University Gift Annuity in support of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Please be advised: The American Friends of The Hebrew University’s Charitable Gift Annuity program is operated under laws and regulations of the New York State Insurance Department and many other states.  AFHU must, by law, maintain a segregated annuity reserve fund that must be invested as directed by law and may only be used by AFHU for payments to annuitants and for no other purpose.  Fixed lifetime annuity rates are based on approved tables and must pass IRS tests.
